Graduation
Congratulations to Immanuel's graduating eighth grade students: Kelsie Kreklau, Evelyn Gruel, Alex Reinhart and Rick Reinhart! Next year you will enter your freshman year of high school! You may have already contemplated what career you will pursue thus outlining what your future years of education will look like.
All of us at Immanuel: your teachers, your peers and congregation members pray for you and your future success. Success in the world's sense, but most of all in God's point of view. It may not look like it now, but this life will end. For a number of years, you have had the privilege of learning and hearing God's Words and His thoughts of success every school day. His words are written on your heart and on your mind, but will need to be nourished as your face everyday challenges. May you be encouraged by Paul's words to Timothy: " In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it. and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 1 Timothy 3:12-17
Again, congratulations on your accomplishments! May God bless you!
