Reflections

"So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God’s hands, but no one knows whether love or hate awaits them." Ecclesiastes 9:1

I had the privilege of witnessing the 'moonset' this morning.  The sun was rising in the eastern sky and the moon was reflecting its light in the western sky.  We are to reflect God's light as we show love and concern for our fellow man.  How little we actually control in each of our lives.  As Solomon says, "the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God's hands".  Does the moon worry about the clouds that flit across its face?  It simply reflects the sun.  We simply reflect 'the Son' to the world around us.

This morning Immanuel's grade K-8 students reflected God's love by visiting five area nursing and assisted living homes, sharing the Easter message through song.  Every place we visited, we heard "thank you for coming".  What a privilege to reflect God's love all we were doing is sharing God's love.
