Dr. Seuss Week!

This week we have been learning about Dr. Seuss. On Monday the 4K read the book "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" and sorted colored goldfish! We finished off the day by reading "The Cat in the Hat."

On Tuesday, the 4K read "The Tooth Book." They looked at where they could see teeth! Ask them about their crocodile smile! We also did a science experiment to see what different drinks could do to teeth (we used hard boiled eggs). We use soda pop, orange juice, vinegar, and water. They were excited to see  what happens to each of the eggs!

Wednesday, we read "Green Eggs and Ham." We took a look at the eggs and found out some interesting things. They observed using touch, smell, and sight. They liked how the orange juice egg smelled.

The soda pop egg turned brown!

Thursday, we are going to read about shapes. We are going to learn how everybody has a shape, and each shape is different, just as God made us!
